1. Holiday Inn Jamaica All Inclusive Family Vacation under $1500
Holiday Inn Jamaica All-Inclusive if our family’s favorite budget resort. It provides some wonderful activities that keep us busy but also provides an opportunity to relax.
While it’s pretty basic family fun such as basic mini golf course, shuffle board basketball and tennis. They also have kayaks peddle boats and a Hobby Cat as well as a fenced in playground. The shallow water between the resort and a small island provide calm area for kids to snorkel. The snack shop is great or snacks. We all love the Jerk Shack and I love the Jamaican food readily available on the buffet. The Italy Restaurant is a nice sit-down option too.
We have booked rates between $150/nt to $180/nt total not per person. We have stayed 4 on our trip for about $720. Make sure to book through a shopping portal to earn some cash back.
The Best part all your food and entertainment are included. The additional costs of the trip will include transportation from the airport and back and gratuities. This is an international destination so airport fees can cost about $520 for 4 people.

2. Orlando including Discover Cove
Booking an Orlando Amusement Parks Family Vacation under $1500 seems impossible. However, the Discovery Cove half-price sale is one of the best Olando Amusement Park Deals out there. For as low as $120 per person, you can book an all-inclusive day at Discovery Cove and up to 14 days at Sea World and Aquatica waterpark. This will take care of your entertainment for a week or longer. It also includes an all-inclusive day at Discovery Cove including food and drinks.
Discovery Cover is an amazing experience including Dolphin interaction, amazing reef snorkeling with fish and stingrays and a great lazy river including a cave through an otter habitat. Sea World has some fantastic shows and wildlife viewing. The sealions were our kids favorite and the cost to feed them rather reasonable. Aquatica is a really fun waterpark with a couple lazy river, wave pool and various water slides.
It’s easy to stay in Orlando on points. The Marriott Fairfield is one of several hotels in the area that offer free shuttles. Nights start at 20,000 Marriott Rewards Points per night and with Marriot 5th night is free. This means a 5-night stay would be only 80,000 Marriot points. Rates at the Marriot also start as low as $84/night so a 5-night stay would be around $450.
The Cost of Food in Orlando can vary depending on the choices you make. Eating Cheap while traveling can help keep you on budget on this trip.

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay is the Best Hyatt Resort in the Northeast and is a great family vacation under $1500. It’s a great use of the Hyatt Cat 1-4 Free Night Certificates. There’s plenty of activities included with the stay that will keep your family busy having fun your entire trip.
The Resort offers 3 pools one indoors where they also host dive in movies at night. an Outdoor infinity pool with bay views and a family pool with water slide. The family and indoor pool have a basketball hoop and the indoor pool has a volleyball net. There’s also 2 hot tub one that is adult only and a family hot tub that’s an indoor and outdoor hot tub. They offer complementary miniature golf, disc golf and tennis. There’s a really nice bike trial that is free to use if you bring your own bikes or you can rent bicycles for a fee. There’s also kayak and paddle board rentals but you can also bring you own to use on the water.

If you bring an inflatable kayak or paddleboard you can launch from the beach and not have to pay to rent them.

Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Maryland Trip for 4 Total Cost: $500-$1,000 depending on Food Costs

4. Atlantis Bahamas Family Vacation under $1500
Atlantis Bahamas is a wonderful fulfilled family vacation. It can be very expensive but it’s possible to do a cheap Atlantis Bahamas vacation.
Through a double status match, it was once possible to earn a free 4-night stay at Atlantis Bahamas. The Caesar’s Reward Status match is the easiest way for an affordable stay. While the first match to Wyndham Rewards is currently not available it can become available at any time. Alternatively, Atlantis can offer rates as low as $199/night. The Comfort Inn next door has waterpark access at Atlantis included so that is another affordable alternative and a stay there usually includes breakfast. Resort fees and taxes the free 4-night stay comes to approximately $256 Total
Atlantis is a wonderful resort with an amazing aquarium display, beautiful beach, extremely fun water park, and beautiful beaches. Plenty of entertainment to keep you busy your entire stay.
Round trip airport transportation will cost you approximately $100.
Food at Atlantis can easily cost more than that if you eat onsite. A Budget Atlantis stay will offer you tips on how to cut your food expenses while at Atlantis Bahamas. Having the free checked bags when flying on Southwest can be very beneficial on this trip as packing some food items can save you a lot.

Disney on the Budget for 4 Total Cost: $1500 or Less

- 160,000 Marriot Reward points for the Swan and Dolphin is likely the best deal as you also get some of the Disney Resort Benefits by staying there. As low as 40,000 points per night with the 5th night free. The Chase Marriott Rewards Credit Card is a great place to start earning Marriot Points. The Marriot Boundless Credit Card currently has a sign-on bonus of 100,000 when you spend $3,000 in 3 months on the card. With the $3,000 spend, you will earn an additional 6,000 points for a total of 106,000 Marriot Points. If your partner also gets the card that’s another 106,000 Marriot points. You are allowed to Transfer up to 100,000 points per year which will give you the points you need for this stay.
6. Hyatt Coconut Point Resort Florida
Hyatt Coconut Point is a wonderful family resort that is located in Bonita Springs, Florida a short distance from Ft Mayer’s Airport. The resort offers a complimentary boat shuttle to their private beach that includes beach chairs and umbrellas. The Resort has a small water park with a lazy river and several slides. They have a rock climbing wall and offer staff-led games and sometimes entertainment such as a balloon artist or magician. There are so many activities included at this resort.

Baker’s Cay is one of the best Hilton Family Resorts in the US. Located in Key Largo in the Florida Keys, they offer a small beach. They have a long dock that is great for watching the sunset or for fishing in the mornings with complementary poles and baits. Baker’s Cay also offers complimentary kayaks and paddleboards. They have 2 floating platforms that are great for kids to jump off of. There are crafts available every day and the afternoon pool games are a favorite. They host movie nights weekly with popcorn candy and soda included. They also have a fire pit with marshmallows or smores some evenings. This is the perfect place to relax and have fun together as a family. It feels like the Caribbean while not leaving the US.

- $200 Entertainment: Waikiki is a great beach for younger kids. Swimming and playing in the sand can be a lot of fun. Waikiki beach also has frequent free entertainment such as movie nights or even a hula show. The Hilton Hawaii Village offers fireworks on select nights. The Honolulu zoo and Honolulu Aquarium are within walking distance from Waikiki Beach and are fairly inexpensive.

A Budget Lake Placid Trip is great any time of year. The Hampton Inn Lake Placid is located right across from Mirror Lake in the town of Lake Placid. Breakfast is included and you have plenty of free activities available on the lake.
If you visit during wintertime, utilize your free checked bags on southwest to pack your ice skates and enjoy free skating on the lake. The Adirondack Wildlife Refuge and Rehab Center is a great place to visit any time of year and admission is by donation only. There’s a small playground on Mirror Lake kids love and a paved walkway around the lake which is great for a family stroll. In summers the public beach is fun to play in the sand or cool off with a swim. Hampton Inn has an indoor pool which is fun to swim in any time of year.

10. Europe and Amalfi Coast Family Vacation under $1500
From the East Coast you can often snag flights for $500 or less to Europe. Using Chase Sapphire Reserve portal where your ultimate reward points are worth 1.5x more, you could book those flights for around 133,000 UR points for a family of 4.
Once your flights are covered it’s pretty easy to find a hotel you can cover using points. there’s plenty of Hyatt Options for 20,000 points or Less. 8 nights can be covered with 160,000 Hyatt or chase Ur points. It’s also easy to find Hotels in the chase portal for even less points. a $300/nt hotel is 20,000 points in the Chase Sapphire portal a $150/night hotel is only 10,000 points per night which means you would only need 80,000 point per night to cover 8 nights at a $150/night hotel.
So what can you do to earn 300,000 Chase Ultimate Reward Points to Cover your European trip?? In my First Year of Travel Hacking, I earned over 1 Million points and miles. over 450,000 of those points were chased Ultimate Reward Points.
Amalfi Coast
We took a trip to the Amalfi Coast with Children Hotel and flight costs were about $3,000 which would have been 200,000 points in the Chase Sapphire Ultimate Rewards Portal. While the total cost of the trip was closer to $4,000, it’s easy to keep the out-of-pocket cost of the family vacation under $1500, by utilizing points to cover the flight and hotel stay.
